Come experience an amazing show of incredibly talented barbershop quartets from across the Pacific this Tuesday evening, October 6 at Kawaiaha’o Church at 7 p.m.! FREE to attend! This show honors the late William G. “Bill” Joor, a 64-year member of our brother chorus, The Sounds of Aloha, and a beloved figure in Hawai’i’s barbershop harmony community. As the tenor for the Merry Macs Quartet, Bill helped plant the seeds of barbershop harmony in Aotearoa New Zealand during the quartet’s historic 1979 tour. The show is from 7-8:30 p.m. and is free.
