What an extraordinary day we had this past Saturday, August 23 celebrating Na Leo Lani’s Golden Anniversary. Fifty years — WOW!!!!!
Thank you to all who attended, and mahalo nui loa to Harris United Methodist Church for hosting us! A million thanks as well to the dozens of volunteers whose hard work helped us pull off this once-in-a-lifetime event. We could not have done it without you.

Freshly back from our Sweet Adelines regional convention in Nevada, the women of Na Leo Lani celebrated our return to rehearsal on the first day of May — Lei Day in Hawai’i.
Joining us as a special guest was the multitalented musical director, educator, and accompanist Phil Hidalgo, who helped us learn the group song for the Ke Kani O Ke Kaiāulu Community Chorus Festival.
We also belatedly celebrated our April birthday gals. Happy birthday, Coralyn!

Na Leo Lani members will sing anytime, anywhere, at the drop of a hat — and, more often than not, we do so while donning a hat! This week we were arrayed in a medley of holiday finery with blinking light leis, Santa hats, and cake crowns, while our November birthday girl, Rosie, joined in the fun of a rousing birthday salute.
