Update: see March 2 performance here! Na Leo Lani is the third group.
On Sunday afternoon, March 2, 2025 Na Leo Lani will join in harmony with choruses from across on O‘ahu to showcase choral music on the island. Come join us for this melodious and uplifting event! Admission is free, and your heart will come away full of the beauty of song.
What: Ke Kani O Ke Kaiāulu 2025 – Community Choral Festival
Yesterday’s rehearsal was a cocktail of pineapple and coconut-themed hijinks as we celebrated National Piña Colada Day. (Apparently there really is a day for everything.)
It so happens our fruity festive fun (light on the rum) came just a couple of days after the annual Lānaʻi Pineapple Festival, which began in 1993. The state of Hawaiʻi has lots of pineapple-related celebrations, but few events are as sweet as our weekly rehearsals. If you like singing in juicy four-part harmony, then come check us out! We rehearse weekly on Wednesdays from 6 to 9 PM. You can find location info and others details about Na Leo Lani HERE. Or come to our upcoming ASP (Amazing Summer Program) concert on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 2 p.m. to hear what we learned in just a few short weeks over the summer! We hope to see you there!
What joy it was to raise our voices with so many others this past Sunday at the KE KANI O KE KAIĀULU (Sound of The Pleasant Breeze) community choral festival at Kawaiahaʻo Church! If you missed the concert or would like to hear it again, see the video and photos below.
Mahalo nui loa again to the festival organizers. We are honored to have been a part of this marvelous event!
Poised and ready to perform The directors of Na Leo Lani and Sounds of Aloha What an amazing array of voices!
Our Amazing Summer Program is back for the second year in a row, and we couldn’t be more excited!
Whether you’re an experienced choral singer or a car-commute crooner, we invite you to join us for our easy breezy seven-week Summer Program. You will learn two songs in a cappella barbershop arrangements, experience the fun of our weekly rehearsals, and take part in a summer performance for friends and family.

On October 21, Na Leo Lani joined with members of Honolulu Blend Show Chorus and men from Sounds of Aloha to celebrate World Singing Day.
Following a picnic and talk story time, we circled up and sang. The gorgeous surroundings of Kapiolani Park and Diamond Head were especially inspiring as we harmonized tunes we knew in common and new songs we learned on the spot.
Special thanks to HBSC director, Stephanie Brictson, for organizing this event, as well as to NLL members who attended: Jojo, Anna, Yvonne, Charley, Deb, Summer, Rosie and Chris, and dual NLL and HSBC members Yvonne and Charley.
We love harmonizing with all of you!
