Come on down to the Lanakila Senior Center on Saturday, May 9, as we strut our stuff and showcase our performance package ahead of our departure for the 2026 Sweet Adelines Region 12 Contest in Nevada!

This free event is a fun opportunity to hear barbershop harmonies live and in concert!

Where: Lanakila Senior Center, 1640 Lanakila Avenue, Honolulu

Parking: free — park in the lot. Street parking also available

This week’s rehearsal theme was COOKIES 🍪🍪🍪 — and as you can “C”, we had a great time singing sweetly together.

Celebrating volunteership

We had a ball today performing at the City & County of Honolulu Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) annual volunteer recognition celebration at the Waikiki Community Center.

In addition to honoring O’ahu’s 2023 volunteers of the year, we also recognized one of our own, Rosie Ramiro, who volunteers for the Lanakila Senior Center and many other places.

Whether serving on chorus committees, helping with rehearsal logistics, carpooling, or just sharing snacks, all of our NLL members are vital volunteers in our own right. Harmony is by definition a collective venture!
